Dr. K N Madhusoodanan

Prof. K N Madhusoodanan obtained his M.Sc. and PhD degree in Physics from Cochin University of Science and Technology in the year 1983 and 1989 respectively. He was Research Associte at Department of Physics, IISc, Bangalore, ICTP TRIL Research Fellow at Department of Mechanical Engineering, II University Rome, Italy, Post Doctoral Research Fellow at Department of Physics, Catholic Unversity Leuven, Belgium and Reserach Associate/ Visiting scientist at Research Center Rossendorf, Dresden, Germany. He joined as Reader in the Department of Instrumentation, Cochin University of Science Technology in the 1995 and became Professor in the Year 2004. He was the Vice-Chancellor of CUSAT during 2019 - 2023. Presently he is working as Emeritus Professor.
